Using amd64efi BSP

Looking at 8.14. x86_64 — RTEMS User Manual 7.5ece2a4 (12th June 2026) documentation there is a reference to amd64 and amd64efi. The documentation indicates amd64efi is for booting with grub using multiboot2. How do I make use of the amd64efi bsp?

I have built the RTEMS quick start app with the compilers built with RTEMS source builder and I have confirmed that no multiboot2 magic header value is included in the ELF file.

Here is some extra information which may prove helpful.

RTEMS version is 6.2.

My source builder command line:
…/…/rtems-source-builder-${RTEMS_VERSION}/source-builder/sb-set-builder --prefix=${RSB_BOARD_DIR} --target=x86_64-rtems --with-rtems-tests=yes --with-rtems-smp --log=${WORKSPACE}/build/logs/full_log_${BOARD}_‘date +%Y-%m-%d-%H-%M’.txt --trace --no-clean bsps/xes

I based xes.bset off pc.bset file.
This is the bsps/xes.bset file I am using for the build:
#
# Extreme Engineering Systems: XCalibur5300 and XCalibur5340
#
# Build into the prefix path:
#
# - x86_64 tools
# - RTEMS Kernel and BSP
# - LibBSD
# - Packages
