Hello to everyone! My name is Busayo Afe, and I’m a 1st year student at University Of Maryland, College Park studying computer engineering. I’ve always been very drawn to low-level embedded and systems programming, and I would love the opportunity to make significant contributions to open-source software. I have experience in C through projects such as a chess engine and a mini shell, and embedded through hands-on class and personal projects such as a small game system and a robot to complete multiple tasks such as object detection, implementing a navigation algorithm, using machine learning with an integrated camera, etc. I am most interested in adding filesystem benchmarking tools to RTEMS. I’ve started research for drafting my proposal by reading the paper for comparison of file systems and the FIO source code on Github.

I’m looking forward to any contributions, and thank you.
