GSoC 2026: Completing hello task in Sparc and setting up ARM BSP for STM32F4

Hello everyone my name is Varun Adinath Patil.
I am interested on working on “Improving the STM32F4 with GPIO, SPI, DMA.”

  • I already have the hardware required and have built BSP for SPARC and ARM.

  • I have executed ‘Hello’ project on sparc.

  • Currently working on creating an application for arm/stm32f4 and executing it using hardware.

Patch file

Hi Varun, could you update your git config user.name with your full name?

Your git commit has an odd commit message “Modified hello example: [describe what you changed]”. I’m not sure what is going on with that, looks like some kind of placeholder from a template or maybe you used a tool or AI to help you generate the git commit command?

You can add yourself to tracking/2026 · main · RTEMS / Programs / Google Summer of Code · GitLab

Have a look at last year’s directory for some idea how to structure your personal page if you’d like some inspiration.

Hi sir,
I have implemented the changes suggested by you and have updated my git username.
Here is the new patch file:

Also I am interested in Porting LittleFS in RTEMS, can you please provide me an insight on how to approach the problem and also can you tell me if there are any selected mentors for this problem statement??

There’s an open post about it: GSoC project Interest: LittleFS - #5 by prakhar
