Hi, i’m Abdelrahman Mohammed a 2nd year student in Electronics and Communication department, Alexandria university faculty of engineering, Egypt.
I plan to specialize in embedded systems and electronics software in my 4th year and i found that GSoC is a very exceptional opportunity to be missed and found out about RTEMS there and it got my interest, so i applied to RTEMS hoping to boost my knowledge about embedded systems, OS, drivers and more.
i’m currently reading these text books:
- Operating Systems principles and practice, beta edition, by Thomas Anderson and Michael Dahlin
- Reusable Firmware Development: A Practical Approach to APIs, HALs and Drivers, by Jacob Beningo
so any insights, advice about these books or the prerequisites for these ideas as they got my interest will be appreciated :
- Locking Protocols for Multiprocessors
- Port an OpenGL Implementation to RTEMS
- Add Filesystem Benchmarking tools to RTEMS
this is the result of hello.exe test
and this is the result after editing it
and git commit info
