Support for Versal RPU

Good Morning,

I just wanted to reach out to ask about the state of the Xilinx Versal RPU support that RTEMS7 has. I did notice that there is a bsp for this in the source but I was curious what the state of that was.

I’m not quite sure what you’re asking. We have a BSP family for the Versal RPU and it is very similar to the ZynqMP RPU. It supports running the RPU cores in lockstep or as separate instances of RTEMS, but not in SMP mode. This was submitted relatively recently.

Good Morning,

Sorry about that, I was asking if it was actually supported since I wasn’t able to find any instructions or mention of the bsp in the user manual.

So if its really similar to the ZynqMP RPU, can I follow the same methodology to build and setup a build for the Versal RPU?

Very Respectfully,
Rahul Vishnoi

It’s likely that the generated documentation just needs an update.
